The company’s on-the-vine offerings were created with consumers in mind and come in 12oz and 1.5lb top seal packs. Every on the vine pack speaks to Windset Farms’ commitment to sustainability, utilizing 100 percent recyclable PET punnets made from recycled content and recyclable mono-layer lidding film. The thoughtful design and choice of material ensure every packaging element can be recycled.
“We’re excited to expand our on-the-vine tomato offerings after seeing phenomenal success with our Tri-Color Cameo Cherry Tomatoes on the Vine,” said Ryan Cherry, director of sales at Windset Farms. “Interest for on-the-vine products continues to grow alongside consumer demand for irresistibly fresh taste and presentation.”
After extensive variety trialing that tested many factors including yield, virus resistance, shelf life, and taste, Windset Farms is excited to bring these fresh tomato offerings to market. Furthermore, with centralized greenhouse facilities in British Columbia, California, and Mexico, the line can be enjoyed year-round.
The company invites attendees of the Global Produce and Floral Show in Atlanta, on October 18th and 19th to visit them at booth #B1465.
